My name is Maria Robinson and I am honoured to be Councillor Elect in North Algona Wilberforce. As your Councillor, I am committed to working toward a fair balance between community, business and growth for you and all residents.
I have worked as a steadfast community leader with not-for-profit organizations, service groups and town committees. I believe in giving back to the community. My experience has demonstrated to me the value of community and social programs that promote growth and stability.

- Practice good governance in all township and community matters
- Forge stronger partnerships with surrounding townships and counties
- Improve services for all including seniors, children and young adults
- Ensure there are sustainable community infrastructures for future generations

Having earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration, it has given me a strong foundation in business which has instilled in me the value of a balanced approach in decision making.
My fiscal responsibility was gained through a successful financial management career in banking and the private sectors. Currently, I am the proud owner of Eagle Tax Service, headquartered in Eganville, acquired in 2012.
