I am honoured to have served as Councillor in North Algona Wilberforce during this current year of council.
I will continue to Listen, Respond and Represent our community while ensuring fiscal responsibility and strong governance.
I am committed to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as a foundation for building a community that welcomes and provides for all.
Council’s accomplishment during 2018 to 2022 term
- Development and implementation of our Strategic Plan and decision-making dashboard
- Open a satellite office in Golden Lake
- Initiation of the Green Steward Program in partnership with Lake Dore Property Association
- Wilkens Trail and Gazebo, Melissa Bishop Park upgrade, Golden Lake Community Centre upgrade and Deacon Boat Launch improvement.
- Partnership development with Algonquin College to provide Environmental Assessment data, Buy Local initiative with our neighbouring municipalities. Also, partnership with the Mennonite community and the Eganville Gun Club on the development of the Wilkens trail.
- New software to streamline processes and improve customer services – for Building Permits, Asset Management and Digital Public Events Communication.
- Road Rehabilitation – Lett’s Cemetery Rd, Royal Pines, Crooked Rapids and others
- Partnering with neighboring municipalities on the development of the Safety and Wellbeing plan.

Having earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration, it has given me a strong foundation in business which has instilled in me the value of a balanced approach in decision making.
My fiscal responsibility was gained through a successful financial management career in banking and the private sectors. Currently, I am the proud owner of Eagle Tax Service, headquartered in Eganville, acquired in 2012.
